Sweetheart Saturday

The only up-date I have on Toby is that Tuesday they have some "documents" to deal with, Wednesday Toby will be released from his institute FOREVER and the family will come to America a few days after that. Hopefully on Thursday, December 24, 2015-Christmas Eve 2015! The family is in a 10 day waiting period. After the 10 day waiting period is all over and finally finished up with Toby should be released this coming week from his orphanage FOREVER!!!! I am crossing my fingers and counting down until Wednesday by praying my heart out that everything will go well, and that Toby WILL come home to America to HIS new family very, very soon!!!!

I have had a very, very week this week! Tuesday left South-West, Virginia at 7:30 AM to travel to Charlottesville for me to choose new glasses and frames, and size the ones I currently own. After that we traveled to Maryland to spend the night with my mom's aunt and uncle's house. Wednesday we went down-town Baltimore for my appointment with the functional eye dr. at John's Hopkins-it was my very first appointment, by the way. Then back to Maryland for another over-night visit. Thursday we went to Balltimore for my regular eye dr. appointment at John's Hopkins. Then we went to Richmond for a doctors appointment for me and my dietary issues. Then we headed back to Charlottesville to pick the new frames and new glasses and give the prescription for them to the people at the Spectacle Shop from my eye dr.. after that my mom wanted to do some shopping since we don't have Trader Joe's or Whole Foods at home. Then we made the 4 hour-drive home to South-West, Virginia. We literally pulled in our drive-way at 12:00 AM yesterday morning. I go back to Charlottesville in a couple of weeks to pick up the new glasses and frames. 

      What a week! I am absolutely taking this weekend to rest. I didn't blog because I was restng yesterday. Ugh! What a week I have had! Anyone else have a crazier week then me? Now I am off to do some more desperately needed resting.

F-Y-I: On some Monday's I will have Meyer Monday blog-posts talking about Toby and HIS new FAMILY.  I will be really busy after the New Year, so I honestly don't know when I will be able to blog again, but I WILL keep you all up-to-date with Toby and HIS FAMILY when-ever I can. I may be blogging about other things too, but right now my main focus is Toby and HIS FAMILY. 

Jeremiah 29:11 Day

Today is November 29. If you switch the numbers around you will get 29 and 11, as in Jeremiah 29:11! I have always wanted my first blog-post to be published on Jeremiah 29:11 Day, because the blog title is Jeremiah Twenty-Nine Eleven. Jeremiah Twenty-Nine Eleven is my favorite Bible verse. What is your favorite Bible verse?
Even though I joined Blogger on Saturday, March 14, 2015 and decided to not blog until today, I prayed and cared about an orphan boy in Europe named Toby. I first found him through my history teacher, and he immediately stole my heart. I knew when I saw him that I would do whatever I could possibly do to get him a family, and make my very first blog post about him.
Toby has a family! His mother's blog is here. They met him on Thanksgiving Day this year (Thur., 11-26-15). Toby is going into a very big and loving Christian family. The deepest prayer that I had for Toby was to find a Christian family that WANTED HIM. My prayer is going true! Toby is almost 11 and has waited so, so long for a family. He would always be upset when one of his friends would get adopted. His BEST friend was actually adopted by my history teacher this year.
Please pray for Toby and his new family as they go through this adoption process. This is the picture where I first saw Toby!:
